I love e-mails and landing pages - it's an effective way to market almost anything. You can sell a product or a service, get people to request information, or any number of things.

The key is to do it RIGHT - you don't want to be boring, but you also don't want hype or "spam" type copy.

  • E-mails - The e-mail that I write will have two purposes in mind - to first get opened (because I'll write a compelling subject line), and then get the reader to go to the landing page. That's it. Too many people make the mistake of trying to "close" the reader in the e-mail. That's not how you do it - you want to get them to the landing page, and then let the landing page do its job. I will write both a subject line, and the e-mail body copy.

  • Landing Pages - The landing page can take on many forms. Do you want a long-form salesletter that sells a product / membership / etc? No problem. Maybe something shorter that gives free information, a booklet, or similar? Done. The landing pages that I write are decidedly logical and engaging in prose, and look to close the prospect on the specific action you desire.
